Senior lunches Peters Township Parks & Recreation and the Area Agency on Aging sponsor lunches for ages 55 and older at the Community Center. Bring a covered dish to share from noon to 2 p.m. On Feb. 10, Strabane Trails Village and Beinhauer Funeral Home will provide details on their programs. Bingo will be played.

Atlantic City trip offered through LifeSpan
LifeSpan Bridgeville Area Senior Citizens will sponsor a trip to Atlantic City Bally's Park Place Casino, April 13 to 16. The bus will depart at 6 a.m. from the Norwood Party House parking lot, located on Station Street, Bridgeville. Cost of $278 (double/triple) includes three-night accommodations at Bally's, deluxe coach transportation and $90 in slot play. Computer classes Silver Scholars computer classes, Internet 1 & 2 will be held at 9 a.m. Thursdays, Feb. 4 and 11 at LifeSpan Chartiers Senior Resource Center in Carnegie. Basic computer skills are required. Cost is $40. To register, call 412-276-5056. Adult interests The Adult Interest Center at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Mt. Lebanon offers entertainment, information, fellowship and lunch for older adults. Programs are held at 11 a.m. Fridays. Lunch is served at noon at $7. No need to register. Games and card playing begins at 1 p.m. Entertainment includes: n Feb. 5, Singer Bobby Shawn with a tribute to classic crooners. n Feb. 12, Vance and Garrick Duo. Celebrate Valentine's Day with Stephen Vance on violin and John Garrick on piano playing Gershwin favorites. n Feb. 19, Vintage Fashions. Topic: Researching Your Ancestors Using the LDS Family History Center to Access the Latter Day Saints Resources. n Shakespeare Readers, 10:30 a.m. Feb. 15 and 22. Read "Henry VI." n PALS Book Club, 10 a.m. Feb. 19. Read "A Walk in the Woods" by Bill Bryson. Hilltoppers Hilltoppers of Scott Township will meet Wednesday, Feb. 10 at Covenant-Community Presbyterian Church. Doors open at 10 a.m. Bring a brown bag lunch to eat at noon.
