Children's theater Little Lake Theatre Company's Looking Glass Theatre opens its 38th season of plays for young audiences with Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type. Performances take place at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays, and 1:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, through July 11. The Saturday, July 27 performance will begin at 12:30 p.m. and there is no performance July 4. New this year is The Little Lake Book Club for Kids, a program for children attending the plays. Book club meetings are held from 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, and reservations are required. Call the Little Lake box office at 724-745-6300 for tickets to the play and book club. At least one adult is required to attend the Book Club. Photo exhibits/lecture The Carnegie Museum of Art will present the following exhibits and lectures: n Cyanotype photography, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 11. Begin with a look at cyanotype prints in the exhibition Digital to Daguerreotype: Photographs of People. Afterwards, head to Carnegie Mellon University's darkroom, where you will create your own prints using this process. For cost or to register, call 412-622-3288. n Photography lecture, 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 16 in the CMA Theater. Daguerreotypes, tintypes, and ambrotypes-what are they, and how did they evolve? Learn about some of the earliest photographic processes. No charge. n "Documenting Our Past: The Teenie Harris Archive Project, Part Three," will be displayed July 18 through Nov. 1. Curated by Harris' oldest son, the exhibit features 184 photographs taken by Charles "Teenie" Harris between the 1930s and 1960s when Harris was a photographer for the Pittsburgh Courier. Included are personal snapshots as well as photos of the local African-American community. n Illustrated lecture, 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 23 at the Carnegie Music Hall. Dr. Laurence Glasco, professor of history at the University of Pittsburgh, will discuss the life of Charles "Teenie" Harris and the subjects he captured. A reception will follow. n "Digital to Daguerreotype: Photographs of People," a photography exhibit, is currently on display through Oct. 18. The exhibit chronicles the evolution of the photographic process and reveals how photographers from the last 160 years have explored the human subject. NPR singer-songwriter National Public Radio commentator and acoustic singer-songwriter Meg Barnhouse, with Kiya Heartwood of Wishing Chair, will present songs, stories, and illumination at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 8 at Unitarian Universalist Church of the South Hills, located on Washington Road in Mt.
