St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Cecil will hold fish frys Fridays during Lent, including Good Friday. Lunch served 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; dinner served 3 to 7 p.m.
Menu includes panko breaded cod (baked or fried), homemade crab cakes, shrimp in a basket, jumbo shrimp and pasta marinara.
Bower Hill VFD
Bower Hill Volunteer Fire Department will host a Good Friday Fish Fry. Advance phone orders will be taken Thursday, March 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Friday, March 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 412-221-3497. Doors open at 11 a.m. Friday, March 21, and close at 7 p.m. or whenever the department runs out of food.
The junior fire brigade will have a bake sale at the fish fry for dessert. This event is a fund-raiser for the department.
