Julie is the daughter of Dr. Peter and Estelle Martina of McMurray. Her grandparents are the late Gordon and Angela Martina of Cresson, Pa., and Stella and the late Lawrence Peternell of Canonsburg.
Andrew's parents are Carol Stankovich and the late Andrew Stankovich Jr. of Tobyhanna, Pa. He is the grandson of the late Andrew and Katherine Stankovich of Philadelphia, and the late Fred and Marie Frascatore, also of Philadelphia.
Serving as maid of honor was Michelle Jackson of Pittsburgh, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Laura Brennan of West Chester, Pa., Laura Egbert of Philadelphia, Caitlin McKenna of Venetia, Kristin Smead of Peoria, Ill., and Tiffany Tomaski of Camden, Del., all friends of the bride. Olivia Terek, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl.
Best man was Brian Stankovich of Saylorsburg, Pa., brother of the groom. Ushers were Mike Badessa of Mantua, N.J., Harry Dales of Elverson, Pa., Jeff Burnes of Saylorsburg, Jon Apperson of State College, Pa., and Jared Edwards of Chalfont, Pa., all friends of the groom, and Chris Martina and Pete Martina, both of McMurray, brothers of the bride. Serving as ring bearers were Matthew Kearney and Mitchell Martina, cousins of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of Peters Township High School and Penn State University where she earned a bachelor's degree in finance. She is a senior staff accountant (CPA) for KPMG, LLP in Philadelphia.
The groom is a graduate of Pocono Mountain High School and Penn State University where he earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, and Villanova University where he received a master's degree in electrical engineering. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1999 to 2005 and is a systems engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Philadelphia.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to San Francisco, Calif., and Maui, Hawaii.
