Smith - Hanna
Rachel Gail Smith and James Gregory Hanna were united in marriage recently at Saint Thomas More Church, Bethel Park, with Reverend Mark Eckman officiating. A reception followed at Saint Thomas More Family Life Center.
Rachel is the daughter of Edward and Judith Smith of Bethel Park. She is the granddaughter of James Simmons of Redmond, Wash., and the late Joan Blanc of Vallejo, Calif., and the late William and Margaret Smith of Bethel Park.
James is the son of James and Alice Hanna of Venetia. He is the grandson of Kim and the late Lou Hanna of Corry, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Robert Ward of Moon Township.
Serving as maid of honor was Michelle Lewis. Matron of honor was Lisa Davis. Bridesmaids were Lisa Mirabal, cousin of the bride, and Carrie Hanna, sister of the groom.
Chris Mirt served as best man. Groomsmen were Adam Menhinick, cousin of the groom, Aaron Cliburn, cousin of the bride, and Brian Davis.
The couple makes their home in Bethel Park.
The bride and groom are both graduates of Bethel Park High School. The bride is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and the groom from California University of Pennsylvania. She is the produce manager at Foodland in Bethel Park. He is employed by PNC Bank.
