Pittsburgh-based Pressley Ridge, one of the largest providers of services for children and families in the country, has named Denise Sedlacek, MEd, vice president of Educational Services, and Beth Blair vice president of Finance and Accounting.
Sedlacek, of Castle Shannon, is responsible for strategic vision and guidance for the Pressley Ridge schools while also developing partnerships with school districts and community agencies. She has 18 years experience as a former public school administrator in western Pa.
Blair, also of Castle Shannon, has been with Pressley Ridge for over 17 years, serving as senior director of Finance and Accounting for the past seven years. In addition to her current responsibilities in general accounting, budgeting and reporting, control, internal audit, billing and planning, she now has formal responsibility for financing and banking relationships.
Pressley Ridge, a $72 million nonprofit, provides education, community-based residential and treatment foster care services for children in seven states and Washington, D.C.
Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services in Pittsburgh announced that Stephen Reihner of Washington has joined the Peters Township office as a sales associate.
Young has more than 30 years of diversified mechanical engineering experience. He most recently served as engineering manager at Burt Hill International Studio. While there he founded the International Engineering Group, which was responsible for generating $2.6 million in revenue in 2008. He also helped to recruit several new young engineers into the area.
Young is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania and Florida and is LEED accredited (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). He holds a B.S. in Physics from Duquesne University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also a member of Steamfitters Local Union 449 and currently lives in Banksville.
Denise Tacka, sales associate in the Rt.19S/Galleria office of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services in Pittsburgh, recently completed the e-PRO Certification Course. Sponsored by the National Association of Realtors, the course is a nationwide, educational program designed to help real estate professionals in the world of online real estate.
By completing the course, Tacka is among a special group of highly skilled and continuously trained professionals who provide high quality and innovative online-based real estate services.
Tacka is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Pennsylvania Association of Realtors and Realtors Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh, and has over 30 years experience in management and customer relations. She is actively involved in her community, most notably with the Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society and the Girl Scouts.
