'Twain' to share his wit and wisdom

Stage 62 will present "An Evening with Mark Twain" at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Andrew Carnegie Free Library Music Hall in Carnegie.

Pittsburgh's celebrated Mark Twain scholar, Dr. Alan Solter, presents his one-man show of lectures and stories straight from the master himself. The event culminates a Lincoln's birthday weekend of activities celebrating the grand re-opening of the Carnegie's Civil War Room, a virtual time capsule of artifacts collected by The Captain Thomas Espy Post 153 of the Grand Army of the Republic.

This delightful evening of humor, wit, and wisdom ends with a dessert reception where you can meet Mr. Twain, chat with Union soldiers, and view the extraordinary "Aspects of Lincoln" exhibit of rare portraits on display.

Cost is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students.
