Jean Morelli has been named director of health services for Providence Point, a new continuing care retirement community under construction in Scott Township. Morelli served for three years as a member of the U.S. Army Nursing Corps and as director of nursing for the old John Kane Hospital and Baptist Homes in Mt. Lebanon before becoming the assistant administrator there. A graduate of Keuka College in New York, she resides with her husband in Whitehall Borough. They are members of Christ U.M. Church in Bethel Park where they play instruments during Saturday evening services and belong to the folk choir. Shannon Lindey has joined the staff of Henderson Brothers, Inc., an independent insurance agency, as a loss control representative in the loss control department working with commercial clients.
She is a graduate of Belle Vernon High School and Slippery Rock University where she earned a B.S. degree in Safety and Environmental Management. A member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and a resident of Coraopolis, she is currently working towards a M.S. degree in Safety, Security and Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University. Susan Carnali-Crofford was recently promoted to vice president, branch manager for Gateway Bank in McMurray. Crofford joined Gateway Bank as manager and business development officer in 2005. Carnali-Crofford has worked in the banking industry for 29 years, beginning in the accounting department of First National Bank of Washington, then managing several Integra Bank/National City Bank branch offices throughout her career. She also held the position of private client relationship manager with National City Bank. Carnali-Crofford holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Robert Morris University and attended the Central Atlantic School of Banking and Commercial Lending at Bucknell University. She resides in Imperial with her two children, Evan and Erica. PennDOT District 11 announced that David Pritt Jr. has been hired as the new Safety Press Officer covering Allegheny, Beaver and Lawrence counties. Pritt will work with the media, law enforcement, community and civic groups, educational facilities and others to promote highway safety. He will also support Press Officer Jim Struzzi in keeping the traveling public and media informed of all PennDOT activities. Pritt previously worked as the traffic safety coordinator for the Southwest Regional Traffic Safety Network in Bridgeville. A graduate of McGuffey High School, Pritt served eight years active duty in the U.S. Army serving in Germany and for a year as a member of the military police in Iraq. He lives in Washington with his two children.
