The future bride is a graduate of Peters Township High School, the University of Tennessee and the University of Pittsburgh where she earned a M.A. degree in speech and language pathology. She works as a speech pathologist with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Slippery Rock High School and Grove City College where he earned a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering. He works at Mine Safety Appliances as a mechanical engineer.

An August wedding is planned at Westminster Church, followed by a reception at the Pennsylvanian.
