Shoup - Moody


Sarah Ann Shoup and Edwin Cole Moody were united in marriage recently at St. Benedict the Abbott Church in McMurray by Rev. Joseph Kurutz. A reception followed at Southpointe Golf Club.

Sarah is the daughter of Diane and Bill Shoup of McMurray and the granddaughter of Lois Shoup and the late Arleigh Shoup of Washington, and Theresa and Thomas Corso of Jefferson Hills.

Cole is the son of Pat and Tony Moody of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.

Serving as maid of honor was Emily Shoup, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amber Moody, sister of the groom, and Hannah Boom and Carrie Harris, friends of the bride.






Best man was Madani Adjali, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jay Piper, John Kidd and Mark Guagenti, friends of the groom.

The bride is a graduate of Peters Township High School and Vanderbilt University in Nashville. She teaches special education at Weatherly Heights Elementary School in Huntsville, Ala.

The groom is also a graduate of Vanderbilt University and is employed as a software engineer for IPEC, Inc. in Huntsville.

Following a honeymoon in Banff, Canada, the couple makes their home in Huntsville.
