The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund will offer scholarship funds for children of U.S. service members who have been killed or permanently disabled in an operational mission or training accident. This fund has provided hundreds of college scholarships to students whose parents have been killed or permanently disabled in such conflicts as the Persian Gulf War, the liberation of Grenada, and the 1983 terrorist attack on the Marine Corps barracks in Beirut. More recently, Freedom Alliance provided scholarship assistance to the dependent children of military personnel who were killed in the October 2000 terrorist attack on the USS Cole, the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the Pentagon, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Visit http://www.fascholarship.com/ for details, or call 800-475-6620.
Deadline is July 18.
