The former Washington Community Arts Choir has changed its name to Washington County Arts Choir, to more accurately reflect the nature of the county-wide appeal of the group in drawing singers and audiences. Name change documents were filed with the state of Pennsylvania.

The choir is preparing for its next concert "Great American Favorites" to be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31 and 3 p.m. Sunday, June 1 at the Olin Fine Arts Center on the W&J Campus with innovative arrangements of familiar gospel and folk music. The 80-voice choir is conducted by Arnold Brock.
