to symphony

Music. Words. Poetry.

Honor your mother and win tickets to hear the symphony.






Students in elementary, middle school and high school are encouraged to compose a song, write a poem or pen a letter in tribute to their mothers.

A winner in each category will win tickets to hear the Chamber Orchestra of the Pittsburgh Symphony perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the Upper St. Clair High School Theatre.

Send CDs or original songs or text of poems or tributes to Mother's Day Tribute, c/o The Almanac, 395 Valley Brook Road, Suite 2, McMurray, Pa. 15317 or e-mail to AANEWS@thealmanac.net Be sure to include name, address, phone number, school and grade level as well as your mother's dance.

Deadline is 9 a.m. Thursday, May 15.
