Memory pendants help grieving pet owners
Pamela Seltzer, president of Puppy Paws Inc. and Deb Chebatoris, owner of Chartiers Custom Pet Cremation Inc. have joined together to create Puppy Paws Memory Paws pendants.
Measuring about the size of a penny in circumference, these pendants can hold a small amount of pet cremains which are sealed in place with resin enamel.
Only one Memory Paw can be created by Puppy Paws at a time to insure that absolutely no cremains are mixed up or accidentally misplaced.
Any cremains not sealed in the pendant are returned to the owner for safe keeping. The back of the pendant is flat for engraving which is done at no cost.

The Memory Paw Pendant was created by Meltzer after a brainstorm session with Chebatoris. The two women met after Meltzer relocated to Bridgeville last fall and joined the South West Communities Chamber of Commerce. Chamber member Chebatoris reached out, immediately sensing a kindred spirit and potential business relationship.
After explaining how "many of her families have a strong desire to 'hold the essence' of their beloved pets close to their hearts," Chebatoris requested a Puppy Paw pendant with a closed back and able to hold some pet cremains.
The result was the Memory Paw, which measures close to the size of a penny in circumference. The cremains are sealed in place with resin enamel which can be transparent or mixed to offer a wide variety of opaque colors.
