McGarvey - Shaw
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. McGarvey of Upper St. Clair announce the engagement of their daughter, Maureen, to David Shaw, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John J. Shaw Jr. of Scott Township.
The future bride is a graduate of Upper St. Clair High School. She received a bachelor of science degree from The Pennsylvania State University and a master's of science degree in education from Duquesne University. She is a guidance counselor for The Clairton City School District.
Her fiancé is employed by The Allegheny County Airport Authority.
A July wedding is planned.
