Barnes - Arrington
Christina Marie Barnes and Obie Brook Arrington were united in marriage at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Ashland, Va., with Deacon Charles Kemper officiating. An evening reception followed at the Manor House at King's Charter in Glen Allen, Va.
Christina is the daughter of James and Roseanna Barnes of McMurray. Obie's parents are Linwood and Annette Arrington of Virginia. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Serving as maid of honor was Adrienne Rice, best friend of the bride.
Linwood Arrington served as best man for his son. Groomsmen were Matthew Barnes of Fairfax, Va., brother of the bride; and Ross and Cory Arrington of Powhatan, Va., brothers of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of Lake Erie College and Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va., where she is a professor.
The groom is also a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and is a police officer for the city of Richmond.
The couple make their home in Powhatan, Va.
