MacKenzie is the daughter of Gregory and Robin McCloskey of Venetia. Her grandparents are Gayle Carter and the late George D. Carter of Lawrence, and the late Edward A. and Elizabeth McCloskey of Venetia.

Joshua's parents are Gary Scheponik and Judi Pinchalk of Monongahela. He is the grandson of George and Marjorie Jonas, and Mildred Scheponik and the late Michael Scheponik, all of Monongahela.

Serving as matron of honor was Ashley Wilson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Erin Lazzari and Brooklyn Kelleher, cousins of the bride, and Kristi Scheponik, sister of the groom.

Jason Scheponik, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Lazzari, Brandon Carson and Ryan McCreary, friends of the groom.

The groom is a graduate of Ringgold High School and the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown. He is an office manager at Airgas Specialty Products in Donora.
