Cynthia is the daughter of Mr. Timothy Omstead of Jefferson Hills.

Matthew's parents are Deborah Ann Bittel and Dr. Robert Paul Bittel Jr. of Jefferson Hills.

The future bride is a graduate of Drexel University where she earned her bachelor of science in architectural engineering and the University of Miami where she earned her MBA. She is a business development manager for RCx Building Diagnostics in Charleroi.

The future groom attended the University of Pittsburgh and earned his doctor of optometry degree at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. He is pursuing a master's degree in public health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is an associate optometrist at Bittel Vision Care and Laser Consultants in the South Hills.
