Alicia is the granddaughter of Tony and Eileen Bianco of Dormont, and Tommaso and Concetta Caruso of Brookline.

Stephen's grandparents are Valeria and the late John Buch of Upper St. Clair, and the late Edwin and Grace Zutell.

The future bride is a graduate of Bethel Park High School and Duquesne University where she earned a bachelor of science degree in secondary mathematics education. She is currently teaching seventh grade math at Mellon Middle School in the Mt. Lebanon School District and is also pursuing a master's degree in instructional technology at Duquesne University.

Her fiancé is also a graduate of Bethel Park High School, and earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He is a sixth grade teacher at South Park Middle School in the South Park School District.
