Jessica is the granddaughter of Gerald C. and Betty McDowell of Washington, and Jacqueline and the late Charles Rupprecht of Bridgeville.

Michael's grandparents are Marge Fletcher and the late Butch Fletcher, and the late Chuck and Georgia Dawson, all of Oil City.

The future bride is a graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and Wingate University in Wingate, N.C., where she earned a bachelor's degree. An active member of Alpha Xi Delta, Iota Zeta Chapter, she is a buyer in the Oil and Gas Division at Fairmont Supply in Southpointe.

The future groom is a graduate of Cranberry High School in Oil City and Penn State University-Behrend where he earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree. He is a sales representative for National Rehab in Moon Township.
