  • Joshua Bowman, a senior at Peters Township High School, has been named a Riverset Star Student Award winner. Josh was presented his $250 award in front of classmates, administration and his parents during an assembly coordinated by Principal Lori Pavlik and Gifted Student Coordinator Judith Alexander. Hard-working and dedicated, Josh will graduate high school with roughly 70 college credits under his belt, which should allow him to graduate from college with a master’s degree in less than four years. He plans to major in nuclear engineering at either Penn State or Renssalaer. Josh is a National AP Scholar and member of the National Honor Society, Junior Engineering Technical Society, Science Olympiad, Moody’s Mega Math Challenge, cello and choir, and captain of the fencing team.
