More new stores are set to open at South Hills Village. Last year was full of retailer additions, renovations and expansions – the new two-level Dick’s Sporting Goods at the North end of the mall, redesigned stores like The Limited, New York & Company, Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works, and brand new retailers such as Bare Minerals and 2b. South Hills Village is starting off 2013 by adding more to the growing list of shopping and dining destinations for the South Hills.

The Upper St. Clair Target is set to open in March. It will include a selection of fresh produce, fresh packaged meat and pre-packaged baked goods. The only other Target to offer this in western Pennsylvania currently is the East Liberty store.

On Jan. 14, Bonefish Grill will open its first restaurant in the Pittsburgh market at South Hills Village. This freestanding, contemporary establishment, located between Target and Route 19, features an innovative, seasonal menu including traditional and unique varieties of fresh fish and seafood. House specialties include Bang Bang Shrimp, Pecan Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout, as well as wood-grilled, non-seafood selections. The restaurant also offers tasty libations such as the Winter White Cosmopolitan and the Bonefish Martini, craft beers and adventurous wines.

Vera Bradley infuses vibrant color into all aspects of women’s lives and now will be bringing a pop of color to the mall in its new space, on the lower level South Wing. The store will feature many of the brand’s favorite offerings including handbags, luggage, totes, and desk and cell phone accessories.

“It is so exciting to begin the New Year with the opening of these new shopping and dining attractions for the South Hills community,” said Jennifer Carroll, South Hills Village Marketing Director. “These new retailers will be key destinations for our customers and are just the first in 2013 to be added to the already-impressive list of shops and eateries at South Hills Village.”
