  • Westminster Music & Arts Series will feature “Elizabethan Ardor: Passion in the Virgin Queen’s Court,” English Lute Music and Songs of Love at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15 in Galbreath Chapel at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair. Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Elizabethan love songs. Acclaimed performers Barbara Hollinshead, a native of Pittsburgh, and Howard Bass travel from Washington, D.C., to bring a program of lute songs and solos that tell the Valentine’s story of love in four short acts, encompassing passionate beginnings, courtship, disappointment and the ever-hoped-for happy ending. A reception will follow the concert. No admission charge, though freewill offerings will be accepted. For more information, call 412-835-6630 or visit www.westminster-church.org.
