Domiciliary Care program seeking homes
The Southwestern Area Agency on Aging, Inc. has been offering Domiciliary Care services throughout Fayette, Greene and Washington counties for more than 30 years and is looking for individuals to open their homes and offer a homelike environment for eligible adults 18 years of age or older that are unable to live independently due to physical, intellectual or age related impairments.
Domiciliary Care providers come from all walks of life and retain $964.00 monthly for each individual residing in their home and for which services are provided. Those services include cooking, cleaning, laundry, and scheduling and providing transportation to medical appointments.
Domiciliary Care homes can accommodate 1-3 residents and are certified to meet the required fire, health and local zoning standards.
For more information on becoming certified as a Domiciliary Care provider, contact the Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging Domiciliary Care Program at 1-800-411-5655.
