Retired Men meet
The Retired Men’s Luncheon Group of Pleasant Hills will meet at noon Feb. 21 in the Fellowship Hall of the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church (corner of Old Clairton Road and Audrey Drive).
Beth Fife, a Wildlife Conservation officer in Allegheny County for 12 years, will speak about the wildlife of Pennsylvania and what is involved in being a conservation officer.

Music performance
Vanadium Woods, Scott Township, welcomes Buster Maxwell as he performs Sammy Davis and Friends at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 22. The show will feature Rat Pack tributes, standards and singing impressions of Sammy Davis, Johnny Cash and Neil Diamond. To RSVP, call 412-221-2900.
Art historian
Adult Interest Center, Southminster Presbyterian Church, Mt. Lebanon, meets at 11 a.m. Fridays. Lunch is served at noon for $6. A meatless entree will be offered during Lent. Art historian Elaine Wertheim will offer her modern interpretation of the silent film genre, “The Artist,” winner of the 2012 Academy Award for best picture, on Feb. 22.

Lunch/learn
Mt. Lebanon Village will host its Lunch and Learn program at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 18 at Mitchell’s Fish Market in the Galleria. Speakers will be featured from Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh and ACTION Housing. Resources will be available for home maintenance, renovations, modifications, energy conservation and mortgage assistance.
Flu kit
Visiting Angels is helping families protect their elderly loved ones by providing Fight the Flu Kits, which include paper towels, Medisim Temple Touch thermometer, vitamin C or boxes of orange juice, pocket hand sanitizers with aloe, pens, Lysol spray, hand soap and hand sanitizer wipes.
Caregivers also help sanitize seniors’ homes and run errands so seniors are not exposed to the flu, take seniors to get their flu shot, or to the doctors.

Pre-Passover lunch
Chabad of the South Hills, Mt. Lebanon, will hold a Pre-Passover Senior Luncheon at noon on March 13.
Enjoy a model seder, Passover music, special holiday foods, great company and raffle prizes.

Visiting Angels and Senior Life of Washington will present “Overcoming the Top Ten Fears of Seniors” at the Frank Sarris Library, Canonsburg, at 1 p.m. Feb. 20. Learn to reduce fears associated with aging.
