Chamber music to fill the Carnegie Music Hall
The Academy Chamber Ensemble presents the fourth in the Listen Locally chamber music series, an all-Mozart concert at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Andrew Carnegie Music Hall in Carnegie.
Led by Artistic Director Dr. Warren Davidson, the Academy Chamber Ensemble will perform a duo for violin and viola, two charming works for flute and strings, and the sublime String Quintet in C major. The informal evening will include interesting tales of Mozart’s life and the particular origins of these compositions. The Academy Chamber Ensemble consists of leading Pittsburgh musicians, all members of the Academy Chamber Orchestra, which performs regularly with the Bach Choir, the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale and with area church choirs.
General admission is $15.
