George and Sandy Kalberer of Bethel Park announce the engagement of their son, Roy, to Christina Toth, daughter of Russell and Dianne Gerhold of Whitehall, and Mr. Robert Toth of Bethel Park.

Roy is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Kalberer of Steubenville, Ohio, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Tomaszewski of Baldwin.

Christina’s grandparents are Bernadette and the late Thomas Haverty of Pleasant Hills. Her step-grandparents are Marie and the late George Gerhold of Munhall, and Mary Ann and the late Arnold Toth of Baldwin.

The future groom is a graduate of Bethel Park High School and Community College of Allegheny County, where he earned a degree in technical theatre. He is a studio mechanic, working on the construction of movie sets and member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 489. He is also employed at Brookside Lumber as an installer.

His fiancée is a graduate of Bethel Park High School and California University of Pennsylvania where she earned a degree in finance. She is employed as a customer service assistant at Dollar Bank.

A May wedding is planned.
