Canonsburg Business & Professional Women’s Club will be decorating Downtown Canonsburg windows and are asking for veteran memorabilia, photos, commendations, “Rosie the Riveter” photos, or anything appropriate that would help honor veterans on Memorial Day and the Fourth of July. Bridgeville Area Historical Society will host a military exhibit honoring Bridgeville’s veterans through Aug. 31 at the historical society’s headquarters on Railroad Street. Hours are 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Uniforms, photos, books, letters, medals, mementos and newspaper articles are on hand.
Society of Tavern Seekers (SOTS), organized by Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation, will hold a cocktail event from 6-7:30 p.m. June 19 at Village Tavern and Trattoria, South Main Street, West End.

The monthly meeting of the Bethel Park Lioness Club will take place at 6:30 p.m. June 18 at Rolling Hills Country Club. Guest speaker will be Lions district governor, who will install Lioness officers for the next term. A Chinese auction will be held.

Relay for Life of Peters Township will sponsor its 10th annual relay “Raising the Flag for Hope” beginning at noon June 14 at Peters Township High School. There will be activities, including a survivors’ lap, entertainment, raffles and special events. Admission is free.

Green Tree Rotary Annual Charity Golf Outing will take place July 14 at Chartiers Country Club.
Registration will take place at 10:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at noon and dinner buffet at 5 p.m. Scramble or Shamble at Golf Pro’s Discretion.
Admission fee of $130 includes 18 holes of golf, hole in one prize at par 3, skill and door prizes, 50/50, silent and Chinese auction, boxed lunch and buffet dinner.
