A spaghetti dinner to raise funds to defray the cost of medical care for Vernie Davis of Houston, who was injured while riding his motorcycle in Florida, is set for noon-6 p.m. May 18 at the Houston American Legion. An all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast to raise funds for the Peters Township Relay for Life will be held from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. May 18 at the Finleyville Fire Department located on Washington Road (Route 88) in Finleyville. The cost is $5 and includes pancakes, sausage, coffee, tea and orange juice.

The National Kidney Foundation’s annual NKF Golf Classic tees off with a shotgun start at noon May 19 at Valley Brook Country Club. The Alzheimer’s Association offers a Caregiver Support Group from noon-1:30 p.m. the fourth Thursday of each month for those caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia.
