Quick Pix: Peters restaurant honors baseball coach with pizza
Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza General Manager Gregory Kithcart delivered “well-done” pizza to well-deserving Peters Township High School baseball coach Joseph Maize and his team. Maize was the athletic director for 20 years at Peters Township and also served as the basketball coach for three years. In honor of March Madness, the McMurray restaurant wanted to recognize him as a leader who has given back to the community. Immediately after the school’s away baseball game, Kithcart was waiting at the school to surprise the coach and team with a complimentary “well done” surprise. Maize has been the head baseball coach at the school for the past 36 years.
