Soup and Stroll fundraiser set for Dec. 3
The Peters Creek Historical Society will hold its annual “Soup and Stroll” fundraiser from noon to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 3, at the historic Enoch Wright House, Museum of Westward Expansion, 815 Venetia Road, Venetia. Enjoy the charm and ambiance of a 19th century setting while enjoying a homemade soup supper, dessert and beverage. Stroll through the second floor to visit Father Christmas, meet the docent of the Mining Room and hear the melody of chamber music. Outside, a re-enactor will talk about pioneer life at the 18th century log house. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children age 9 and under.
