GTDP

The Golden Triangle Decorative Painters will meet on March 19 at the Finleyville I.O.O.F. Hall, Finleyville-Elrama Road. Doors open at 9:15 a.m. followed by a painting class at 10. Children’s events

Stay ‘n Play, located at 1900 Cochran Road, Scott, will hold the following events for children:

• Lucky Leprechaun Day, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 17. Play games, make a St. Patty’s Day Craft, have snacks, and try to find Lucky’s pot of gold. Activities are free with $5 admission to Stay ‘n Play.

Friday Night Movie

Peters Township Parks and Recreation Department will show “The Secret Life of Pets” at 7 p.m. March 17 at the Rec Center. Doors open at 6:30. Popcorn and refreshments provided. Play reading

Off the WALL Productions presents “Still, Birth,” a new play reading, at 8 p.m. March 17 at Carnegie Stage. “Still, Birth” seeks to speak of the loss of a baby in the hopes of supporting those who suffer in silence. ‘Alice in Wonderland’

Carnegie Performing Arts Center will present the ballet of “Alice in Wonderland” March 17-19 at the newly renovated Andrew Carnegie Music Hall, Beechwood Avenue. Audrey Durham, a sophomore at Keystone Oaks High School, will play the role of Alice. Performances are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Orchid Show

Auditions

Amish day trip

Reservations and payment are due before March 20 for Real Housewives of Amish Country, a day trip presented by Baldwin United Methodist Church on April 27. Cost is $97 per person. Murder mystery dinner

Thomas Presbyterian Church, located on Linden Road in Eighty Four, will hold the Murder Mystery Dinner “Death and Taxes,” performed by Mystery’s Most Wanted, on March 25. Doors open at 5:15 p.m., with dinner served at 6. The menu includes gnocchi with tomato sauce, meatballs, chicken, green beans, salad, dessert, and ice tea or coffee. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the church office between 8 a.m. and noon Monday through Friday, or by calling 724-941-8910. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Food & Friends.
