Holiday A-Fair

Operation Troop Appreciation will hold its annual Gently Used Costume Jewelry Sale Nov. 10 and 11 at the South Park Community Center, located on Brownsville Road (behind South Park Library). Live theater

Fall play

Bethel Park High School will stage “The Heist” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9-11 in the high school auditorium on Church Road. The play, written and directed by Bethel Park High School English teacher Cortney Falce Williams and featuring a cast of 27, is a fictionalized account and a cautionary tale about the first armored car robbery that took place in the United States in 1927 in Bethel Park. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door on performance nights.

Dinner for a Dollar

Community of Christ, Church, Bethel Park, will hold Dinner for a Dollar from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 9. The menu will include spaghetti, bread and rolls, garden salad and desserts. Art installation

Into the Forest art installation, a globally curated exhibit, opens on Nov. 10 at Spinning Plate Gallery, and runs through Dec. 3. Art Encounters Studio at In His Presence Church, 251 Brookwood Road, Venetia, offers holiday art classes for kids ages 6 through teens. Make Thanksgiving and Christmas projects involving clay and other mix media. Classes are from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays, through Dec. 7 (with a Thanksgiving break), and 2:15 to 3:45 p.m. or 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 14-Dec. 12, and . Bricks 4 Kidz

WROC at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair, will offer Bricks 4 Kidz – Galaxy Far Away from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 14. Kids will be immersed in Star Wars through LEGO activities geared toward specific age groups (5-8 and 9-12).
