Woman’s Club of USC

Craft/vendor show

Saint Elizabeth Elementary School, Baldwin, will hold its annual fall craft and vendor show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 18, in the gym, featuring more than 50 tables, a 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction. Refreshments will be available.

Flea market

Bower Hill Community Church, Mt. Lebanon, will hold its Famous Flea Market from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 18. The event will feature 40+ tables in the main room and an additional room with toys and children’s items. Bower Hill Boutique offers items for as low as $1 and a snack bar. Christmas craft show

The DeMarillac Guild of St. Louise de Marillac Parish, Upper St. Clair, will sponsor its annual Joy of Christmas Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 18, in the school and LeGras Parish Center. One hundred and twenty-one artists and crafters will be on hand. There will also be a bake sale, candy sale and Chinese auction. Lunch and snacks will be available to purchase. Admission is $2 and includes a ticket for the Chinese auction. Strollers are not permitted.

Vendors wanted

Arts and crafts vendors are being accepted for Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church Christmas Cookie and Gift Bazaar set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 9. The event features homemade Christmas cookies for sale by the pound, a British tea room and gift basket raffle. Guzzi benefit

The sixth annual Benefit to Celebrate the Life of Andrew Walter Guzzi will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 19 in the ballroom of the Crowne Plaza Hotel Pittsburgh South, Bethel Park, to raise money for Humane Animal Rescue and collect toys and money for the Toys For Tots drive in Washington and Greene counties. Guzzi, an Upper St. Clair High School and Washington and Jefferson College graduate, died Nov. 11, 2012, at age 25. The event will include a 50/50, lottery tree, auctions basket raffles. Live theater

The South Hills Players (formerly known as the Baldwin Players) wraps up its 58th season with a production of “Miracle on 34th Street.” Performances are at 8 p.m. Nov. 17 and at 3 p.m. Nov. 18 and 19, in the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 935 Pine Ave., Castle Shannon. Live theater

Pendemer Productions presents Neil Simon’s “London Suite,” Nov. 17-19, at the Royal Place, 2660 Library Road, Castle Shannon. Simon, America’s premier comic playwright, crosses the Atlantic for a collection of four comedies set in a deluxe London hotel, a sedate place until an assortment of eccentric and engaging characters check in. Her Story Seminar

Four women will tell their life stories to encourage and inspire you to tell yours. The final Her Story Seminar will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 18, at Castle Shannon Public Library. Bat Mitzvah Club

Free concert

The South Hills Children’s Choir will perform a free concert with the Waynesburg Lamplighters at 3 p.m. Nov. 19 in the Roberts Chapel on the Waynesburg University Campus. The choirs will sing both together and separately.

Living history

The Oliver Miller Homestead, A 1794 Whiskey Rebellion Site located on Stone Manse Drive in South Park, will celebrate Thanksgiving on the Frontier from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 19. The Miller family and their friends will give thanks as a feast is prepared at the outdoor open hearth and bake oven. Guides in 18th Century dress will provide information and discuss the history of the Whiskey Rebellion and demonstrate pioneer crafts. Addiction

Nar-Anon Family Groups, a worldwide fellowship for family and friends of those suffering from addiction, meets from 6 to 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at Monongahela Valley Hospital’s Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center (ECC). As a Twelve-Step program, the Nar-Anon program is based on a set of spiritual principles and has no affiliation with any denomination. Substance addiction

Six Steps to Sanity, a faith-based ministry outreach of the Substance Addiction Ministry (S.A.M.) of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, will be offered from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, through Nov. 21 at St. Louise de Marillac Parish, LeGras Parish Hall, 320 McMurray Road, Upper St. Clair.
