Holiday party
The Residence at Logan in Bethel Park will hold a “Home For the Holidays at the Residence at Logan” holiday party from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 16. Stoney Richards from KDKA Radio will be broadcasting live from the event, which will include snacks, a disc jockey, hot chocolate bar, visit from Santa Claus and more. Holiday bazaar
Concordia of the South Hills (CHS) will host a holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 5, in the Retirement Living Commons Area, featuring a variety of vendors, basket auction and bake sale. Selections at this free event will include jewelry, fashion accessories, ornaments, art work and holiday decorations. All proceeds benefit the CSH Caring Fund to provide benevolent care to those CHS serves and assist in providing quality-of-life improvements and activities for its residents. Chanukah seniors lunch
The annual Chanukah Seniors Lunch will be held at noon on Dec. 19 at the South Hills JCC, 345 Kane Blvd., Scott. The event will include a Chanukah program, kosher lunch with hot latkes (potato pancakes) and holiday music. Suggested donation is $5. Retired Men meet
The Retired Men’s Luncheon Group will meet on Dec. 21, at Pleasant Hills Presbyterian Church, 199 Old Clairton Road. The Thomas Jefferson High School Jazz Band will perform. Lunch will be served at noon at a cost of $8, payable at the door. To reserve lunch, call the church office at 412-655-2000.
TOPS Weight loss

• Gentle Yoga Morning & Evening Classes from 6 to 7 p.m. Mondays and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays, through Dec. 13.
• Arthritis Foundation Exercise, 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. Mondays and 10 to 10:50 a.m. Wednesdays, through Dec. 18.

Dormont AARP
Dormont AARP #3015 meets the second Thursday of each month throughout the year at Unity Presbyterian Church, 1146 Greentree Road. All seniors age 55 and older and new members are welcome. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. A meeting follows at noon. Activities include entertainment, speakers, pancake brunch, covered dish dinner, annual picnic, fundraisers and travel opportunities.
