St. Patrick School, Canonsburg, will hold its annual spring concert on Tuesday, May 8 at Canon-McMillan Senior High School. A search is on for all St. Patrick School alumni to gather for this event. Join former classmates in singing and dancing with not only childhood friends but music instructor Mrs. Lucy Hosni. A planning meeting and two rehearsals will ensure a fun time for all. The Youth Steering Committee of Upper St. Clair will host the program “In Our Own Voice” at 7 p.m. April 11, at the Community & Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park. This interactive presentation provides audiences a first-hand account of what it’s like to be a young person living with a mental health diagnosis, while offering hope and providing insight into the fact that recovery is possible for people with mental illness. Presented by the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the program is free. The Coalition for Leadership, Education and Advocacy for Recovery (CLEAR) will hold a talk on addiction, “Evidence-Based Treatment: What Works?” on April 11 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1066 Washington Road, Mt. Upper St. Clair Township will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 14, at the municipal building, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road. The South Fayette Little Green Machine Alumni Band is seeking members willing to march in the 2018 Bridgeville Memorial Day Parade. Last year around 35 musicians and majorette alumni from various graduation years gathered and performed in the parade. There are 2-3 rehearsals in May.
