At the Bible Chapel, McMurray, a Special Needs Respite will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. April 27, at the South Hills campus. The event will include fun and fellowship for individuals with special needs and their siblings, while their parents enjoy a time of rest and rejuvenation. The event is free, but registration is required by emailing Jaclyn at jroyall@biblechapel.org.
• Color Wars, 6 to 8:30 p.m. May 16, featuring food, a guest speaker, team games and a powder paint fight. Open to all students in grades 6-8. Cost is $5 per student. To register (required), visit biblechapel.org.
At South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park, a new session of Grief Share will meet from 10 a.m. to noon or 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, through April 19. This Bible-based support group consists of DVD teaching followed by time for discussion and sharing. Registration is $15.

At Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair, a Grief Recovery Group is held from 6:45 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, through May 2, in Memorial Parlor at the church. This is a faith-based grief support group that will use the grief recovery book “Beyond the Broken Heart: A Journey through Grief” by Julie Yarbrough.
