Five new Eagles land in Bethel
Boy Scout Troop 215 based out of First Bethel United Methodist Church in Bethel Park, held an Eagle Court on April 7 to honor five new Eagle Scouts. The five new Eagle Scouts from Troop 215 and their projects are: Jacob Daschbach — the Montour Trail in Bethel Park; Brody Flowers — the Saw Mill Run and McMillan watersheds; Mark Hurey — the Montour Trail in Cecil Township; Andrew Davis — the Montour Trail in Bethel Park; and Connor Wholey — the Enoch Wright House in Peters Township. All of these outdoor areas were functionally improved and beautified by their efforts. In addition to receiving letters and honors from national, state and local civic leaders, three organizations were in attendance to recognize and present the young men with certificates. They included: American Legion Post 760 of Betel Park, U.S. Coast Guard and the B.P.O.E. Pittsburgh South Hills Lodge 2213. Pictured from left are: (front row) Eugene Eckman, B.P.O.E.
