At the Bible Chapel, McMurray, Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 9. This prom night experience, for people with special needs ages 14 and older, will be held in conjunction with other Night to Shine events around the world. At Ruthfred Lutheran Church, Bethel Park, communion is celebrated at all three services: 8:30 and 11 a.m., and 6 p.m. Sunday school for all ages is available as well. The adult Sunday school class continues a biblical view of discipleship as modeled by Jesus Christ. The Upper Room continues its Faith Lessons study “Prophets and Kings” with a video series that highlights the geographical, historical, cultural and religious contexts.

At South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park, a new session of Grief Share will meet from 10 a.m. to noon or 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, through April 12. This Bible-based support group consists of DVD teaching followed by time for discussion and sharing. Registration is $15 and includes a workbook.
• Alpha Course, 6 to 9:30 p.m. Fridays, through March 30. A free dinner is provided, with DVD teaching and small group discussion to introduce the basics of Christianity. Call to register for this 10-week class.
