The Bethel Park Music Department will hold a hoagie sale Feb. 17, featuring three types of hoagies: Regular, Special and Turkey. Cost is $6 per hoagie. Acting contest

Students from Mt. Lebanon High School and Thomas Jefferson and Mellon middle schools will compete in the preliminary rounds of Pittsburgh Public Theater’s 24th Annual Shakespeare Monologue & Scene Contest, running through Feb. 15 at the O’Reilly Theater, The Public’s home in Downtown’s Cultural District. Contestants will perform monologues and/or scenes they’ve chosen from the works of William Shakespeare, while teams of judges evaluate each participant. Ice hockey game
