Pharmacist William Lowe erected this building on Washington Road, just north of Alfred Street. It was one of the first commercial buildings in what would become Mt. Lebanon’s central business district. Lowe and grocer John Taylor conducted business here until 1909, when they sold the building to pharmacist/postmaster L.B. Finley and grocer William Wall. This picture was taken about 1915.
