Dione Cahillane
Dione Cahillane of Mt. Lebanon has been named associate director of Recruiting and Business Development for the Executive MBA program at the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
In this position, Cahillane will play a leading role in building awareness of the program among prospective students and increasing enrollment.
Cahillane has more than 20 years of experience in recruiting and business development. Before joining the EMBA Team, she held positions at the university’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence, most recently as membership director. Prior to that, she was executive administrator in the Office of the Vice Dean of the School of Medicine.
She has also held positions including assistant director of the Small Business Development Center / Entrepreneurial Fellows Center / Family Enterprise Center and program director of the International Business Center and Center for International Enterprise Development.
She is a cabinet member of the Century of Excellence Campaign for the Mt. Lebanon School District, a board member of the Homeless Children’s Education Fund, and has served in voluntary positions for organizations including Pittsburgh Symphony, United Way, Hoover Elementary School (Mt. Lebanon School District), Girl Scout Troop 53667 (Mt. Lebanon), Entrepreneurial Fellows Center, Cabaret Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.
She holds a BA in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh, has participated in the Leadership Development Initiative of Leadership Pittsburgh and has received Entrepreneurship Certification from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
