Following a weekend mix of rain, ice and snow that brought flooding to the South Hills and beyond, it seems fitting to run this historical photo. The town of Carnegie celebrated a wet Valentine’s Day in 1966. This compassionate rescue team rowed this frightened family to safety and saved their beloved pets, as well.
