Vacation Bible Schools – Week of June 13
Bethel Park
• John McMillan Presbyterian Church, Bethel Park, will hold vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon June 25-29, featuring service, games, snacks, songs, Bible stories and more. Lunch will be available for families for a nominal fee after VBS on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Open to children 3 years old (with one year of 3-year-old preschool experience) through sixth grade (completed). Cost is $15 per child through June 15. Cost increased to $25 after that date. • South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park, will hold Mega Sports Camp vacation Bible school from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 18-22. Pastor Tony and his sports teams will provide Bible teaching, live music and a week of sport specific camp (baseball, basketball, cheer/dance, soccer and hockey) for kindergarten through sixth grade at Hillcrest Christian Academy, 2500 Bethel Church Road. McMurray
The Bible Chapel, McMurray, will hold “Shipwrecked!” vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. June 25-29, for children entering kindergarten through grade 6. To register, visit biblechapel.org.
Mt. Lebanon
• Bower Hill Community Church, 70 Moffett St., Mt. Lebanon, will offer Day Camp and Jr. Day Camp July 23-27. Day Camp is held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for children who have completed first through fifth grades. It is led by Crestfield staff and includes a day trip to Camp Crestfield during the week. Jr. Day Camp is held from 9:30 a.m. to noon for children in preschool (potty-trained) through completed Kindergarten and is led by church staff and volunteers. This year’s theme is Beyond Belief! Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church, located at the corner of Scott and Washington roads, will offer vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon June 25-29, for children 4 years of age through fifth grade. Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair, will hold vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon June 18-22. “Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus” – A world where kids are anchored in the truth that Jesus carries them through life’s storms, is for children entering grades K through 6 in the fall.
