Flea market

The Church of the Atonement, 618 Washington Avenue, Carnegie, will hold an indoor flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 29 and 30. The indoor flea market will close from noon until 1 p.m. for lunch. HAPPENINGS

Trolley fair

The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum will host a Trolley Fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 23 and 24. Saturday’s Truck Show will feature classic and modern trucks and some construction vehicles. There will also be a historic parade of trolleys including Pittsburgh trolleys at 11:30, Philadelphia trolleys at 12:30, and “other” trolleys and work cars at 2:30. On Sunday, there will be a variety of classic cars on display. Preregistration is not required and there is no fee, though contributions are welcome. Vehicles should arrive before 10 a.m., with the first 50 arrivals receiving a dash plaque. All registrants receive two complimentary tickets and will also be randomly entered to win museum merchandise. There will also be LEGO displays, a World War II encampment, and informational exhibits and artifacts. A food vendor will be on site, and DJ Judy Chickis will play a variety of music. YMCA events

Spencer Y, Bethel Park, will host a preschool summer day camp from 2 to 4:30 p.m. through Aug. 17, for potty-trained campers ages 3-5. Summer camp

Camp Invention, a nationally recognized, nonprofit summer enrichment camp program, will be held June 25-29 at Pleasant Hills Middle School and June 25-28 at South Park Elementary Center. Using hands-on activities, Camp Invention promotes science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning; builds resourcefulness and problem-solving skills; and encourages entrepreneurship — in a fun and engaging environment. Film screening

The Smithsonian-affiliated Senator John Heinz History Center will host a special screening and panel discussion about the film “Andrea Doria: Are the Passengers Saved?” at 1 p.m. June 30. The documentary follows Pierette Dominica Simpson, who survived the catastrophic Andrea Doria-Stockholm collision on July 25, 1956. Simpson uncovers a cold case that vindicates Captain Piero Calamai of the Italian luxury liner, and she returns to her village of Pranzalito, Italy, to expose the shocking truth surrounding the collision. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion. The event will include a temporary display of salvaged objects from the shipwrecked Andrea Doria, including a life ring and bell. History presentation

The Fort Pitt Museum, part of the Smithsonian-affiliated Senator John Heinz History Center museum system, will host historian and author Dr. Fred Anderson for a presentation entitled The Fall of Fort Duquesne, 1758: A Hidden History at 11 a.m. June 30. Following the presentation, visitors can explore Western Pennsylvania’s critical role during the French & Indian War, the American Revolution, and the birth of Pittsburgh through two floors of interactive displays and award-winning exhibitions. The museum’s featured exhibit is From Maps to Mermaids: Carved Powder Horns in Early America, showcases delicately carved powder horns – used by soldiers, settlers, and American Indians to store gunpowder on the colonial frontier – and the stories behind them. Car cruise

Broadmore Senior Living at Lakemont Farms, an upscale personal care and memory care facility located at 3275 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, will hold its annual car cruise from 3 to 5 p.m. June 30. Live theater
