At Center Presbyterian Church, McMurray, worship begins at 11 a.m. on Sundays. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:45 a.m.

At Ruthfred Lutheran Church, 3401 South Park Road, Bethel Park, Wednesday Lenten services are held weekly, at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Regular Sunday services are at 8:30 and 11 a.m. with Sunday school for all ages beginning at 9:45.
At South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park, a new session of Grief Share will meet from 10 a.m. to noon or 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, through April 12. This Bible-based support group consists of DVD teaching followed by time for discussion and sharing. Registration is $15 and includes a workbook.
• Alpha Course, 6 to 9:30 p.m. Fridays, through March 30. A free dinner is provided, with DVD teaching and small group discussion to introduce the basics of Christianity. Call to register for this 10-week class.

At St. Thomas More Church, Bethel Park, five Catholic sisters will share their inspiring and joyful stories as part of National Catholic Sisters Week and International Women’s Day – from raising bees to dining on donated roadkill – at a free event and reception in the Family Life Center at the church. Standup Sisters: Green Habits will be from 7 to 9 p.m. March 8. Michelle Kardos, music minister for the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill, will play piano. Sharing stories will be Sr. Lyn Szymkiewicz, Community of St. Joseph-Baden; Sister Agnes Therese Davis, Franciscan Sisters T.O.R. of Penance of the Sorrowful Mother; Sr. Barbara O’Donnell, Sisters of the Humility of Mary; Sr. Elise Mora, Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God; and Sr. Rejane Cytacki, Sister of Charity of Leavenworth (Kansas).
