Fitness classes
WROC at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair, will offer Fitness for Seniors 55+ beginning the first week of March. Classes include;
- Strong Bodies – Strong Bones, 9 to 9:50 a.m. Wednesdays, March 7-April 25
- Gentle Yoga Morning & Evening Class, 6 to 7 p.m. Mondays and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays, through April 18
- Arthritis Foundation Exercise, 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. Mondays and 10 to 10:50 a.m. Wednesdays, through April 25
- Tai Chi, 11:15 a.m. to noon Wednesdays, March 7-April 25.

Hilltoppers meet
The Hilltoppers of Scott Township will hold its monthly meeting March 14 at Covenant-Community Presbyterian Church, 1630 Greentree Road. Doors open at 11 a.m. for fellowship. Bring a brown bag lunch to eat at noon. Dessert is provided and beverages are available. After lunch and a brief business meeting, there will be a performance by accordionist and entertainer Kevin Solecki. Visitors are welcome; new members are needed. Retired Men meet
The Retired Men’s Luncheon Group will meet on March 15 at the Pleasant Hills Presbyterian Church, 199 Old Clairton Road. Daniel Simmons of Monongahela Valley Hospital will speak. Lunch is at noon at a cost of $8, payable at the door. For reservations, call the church office at 412-655-2000.
Pre Passover lunch
Chabad of the South Hills, Mt. Lebanon, will hold a Pre Passover seniors lunch at noon on March 20, featuring a model seder and holiday program. Suggested donation is #5. To preregister, call Barb at 412-278-2658.
Lunch/movie
Mt. Lebanon Recreation Department will hold a senior luncheon and movie matinee on March 20 at the Rec Center, 900 Cedar Blvd., 2nd Floor, for all seniors and their adult guests (Mt. Lebanon residency is not required). Check-in is at 10:30 a.m. in the Rec Office. The presentation “Navigating the Healthcare Maze” will be at 11 a.m. followed by the meal at noon, 50/50 raffle and movie on the big screen. Wear St. Patrick’s Day colors. Open house
Concordia of the South Hills Retirement Living will hold an open house event from 1 to 3 p.m. March 26 and 27 at the South Hills campus located at 1300 Bower Hill Road in Mt. Lebanon, near St. Clair Hospital. Tour the building including retirement living apartments as well as personal care and short-term rehab/skilled nursing units. Refreshments will be served in the Harmony Room. Chair dance class
Senior chair dance classes are offered from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Mondays at the Peters Township Recreation Center for those age 60 and over. Class begins with a warm up stretch followed by a fun dance routine. Cost is $60 for members and $90 for non-members. For information, visit www.peterstownship.com.
Pickleball
The Community & Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park, Upper St. Clair, offers beginner pickleball play from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Mondays, and intermediate/advanced pickleball play from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. To learn more, call the C&RC at 412-221-1099.

TOPS
Enjoy contests and speakers while losing weight for $5 per month with TOPS (Take off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 75. The group meets from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays at Carnegie Retirement Residence, Railroad Avenue. Weigh-ins at 6 p.m. For more information, call Francis at 412-818-7489.
Theater-minded seniors
Better Than Ever Independents, also known as the Sassy Seniors, is a theatrical group that performs vaudeville-type shows at nursing homes, AARP meetings and more. New members age 50 and older are needed. For more information, email jangary2@hotmail.com.
Dormont AARP
Dormont AARP #3015 meets the second Thursday of each month throughout the year at Unity Presbyterian Church, 1146 Greentree Road. All seniors age 55 and older and new members are welcome. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. A meeting follows at noon. Activities include entertainment, speakers, pancake brunch, covered dish dinner, annual picnic, fundraisers and travel opportunities.
