Talia Summaria of Peters Township went ice fishing for the first time in February on Conneaut Lake. She is shown here holding a northern pike, which she put  back into the water. The 15-year-old Peters Township High School freshman grew up fishing with her brother, Nico, but this was the first time she tried her hand at ice fishing. Talia said that her goal for the past three years has been to catch a northern pike since “everyone that I go fishing with gets a pike.” She added, “The feeling of pulling it out of the ice hole was absolutely incredible.”
