For the 18th consecutive year, members of the Bethel Park High School Hockey Team spent an afternoon skating with Bethel Park School District special needs students in grades K-6 at the Spencer Family YMCA. The hockey players skate for an hour with the students and then serve them a pizza lunch. This program was started by Bethel Park Adaptive Physical Education Teacher Linda Graney, who believed the partnership would be good for her students, to help them to develop a life-long love of fitness. The students thanked the hockey players by making banners for them, cheering them on in the Penguin Cup Playoffs. Pictured here is Bethel Park High School ninth-grader Joey Wandrisco with Neil Armstrong Middle School sixth-grader Alex Maskelunas (seated).
