The Peters Creek Historical Society will offer a virtual tour of the “Mystical Inca Ruins of Peru” at 7:30 p.m. March 26, in the social room of Wrights United Methodist Church, 788 Venetia Road, Venetia. Vendors needed

Reservations are now being taken for the April 7 Spring Craft Fair at Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park. The event includes wide aisles for browsing, plenty of parking and free admission. Proceeds benefit Prime Time Adult Care Inc., a nonprofit organization offering medical supervision and physical and mental stimulation of the frail elderly or those with Alzheimer’s disease. Lions fundraiser

The McMurray Lions Club is selling high quality, heavy-duty vinyl trash bags in 30- and 33-gallon size for trash, and 18-gallon size for kitchen use. Brooms are available as well. Dinner/dance

The Top Hatters, a ballroom dance club, will hold a dinner/dance on Friday, April 6, at Valley Brook Country Club, McMurray. Social begins at 7 p.m. (cash bar) followed by dinner at 7:30 and dancing from 8:15 to 10:30 p.m., with music by the Mikey Dee Band. Attire is formal/semi-formal. Call to artists

Our Lady of Grace Church, Scott Township, is seeking artists to participate in an exhibition of their work in the 2018 Pentecost Sacred Arts Festival, set for May 16-20. This juried exhibit will showcase and foster appreciation of sacred artistic expression. Artworks submitted for exhibition are required to be in the Judeo-Christian Tradition. Total cash prizes of $1,200 will be awarded. Deadline for entries is March 23. PCO concert

The Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra will present the fourth concert, Fire, as part of its 2017-2018 series based on the Elements at 7:30 p.m. March 24, in the Upper St. Clair High School Theater. The concert will feature winners of the Young Artist Concerto Competition co-sponsored by the Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra and the Pennsylvania Music Teachers Greater Pittsburgh Chapter, including Christian Chiu, a freshman at Upper St. Clair High School, who will perform the first movement of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No 2. Christian’s sister Arianna is a previous winner of the competition, performing in 2016. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for seniors and $5 for students age 13 and up. Concert

Renaissance & Baroque presents Rebel Baroque with Baroque dancers at 8 p.m. March 24, at Synod Hall in Oakland. This award-winning, New York-based ensemble founded in 1991 specializes in 17th- & 18th-century repertoire performed on period instruments. They are the current most-aired U.S.-based Baroque ensemble on American radio. This program, Caractères de la Danse, employs the services of two violins, cello, harpsichord and two Baroque dancers. Easter egg hunt

Crossroads Ministries, 81 Walter Long Road, Finleyville, will hold an EGG-streme Egg Hunt Challenge on March 24. The event includes age-appropriate obstacle courses, bounce houses, photo station with the Easter Bunny, dollar concessions/bake sale and more. There will also be grand prizes awarded to those who find the special golden ticket eggs. Easter egg hunt

Carnegie Presbyterian Church, 219 Ewing Road, will hold a community Easter egg hunt on March 25. The egg hunt begins at 2:30 p.m. for age groups preschool and kindergarten, and grades 1-4. There will also be games, crafts, snacks, prizes and more for all ages. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors.

Live theater

City Theatre Company on the South Side continues its 43rd season with the world premiere of “Citizens Market” by Cori Thomas, through March 25 on the Main Stage. “Citizens Market” follows a hopeful group of immigrants as they form an unlikely family, working to master the ups and downs of language, love and staying afloat in the city that never sleeps. Princess tea party

The sixth annual Princess Tea Party to benefit CureSearch, a U.S.-based nonprofit foundation that accelerates the search for cures for children’s cancer, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on April 7, at Bishop Canevin School-Gym, 2700 Morange Road, Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh Tartan Day

St. Andrew’s Society of Pittsburgh will hold its annual Pittsburgh Tartan Day from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 7, at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Bethel Park. The free event will include entertainment by bagpipers, fiddlers and dancers, food, raffles, Celtic workshops and gifts available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Tartan Day Scholarship Fund.

Auditions

Little Lake Theatre Company, 500 Lakeside Drive, Canonsburg, will hold auditions for children (age 6-18) for its 2018 season.
